Rejoin the Cactus GTO Club for 2010. Your $12 yearly dues helps

Dear club members,

If you like warm weather and you love Pontiacs, you should have been at the Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac show this past Sunday. The club did take away some impressive awards, including Pat Fykes with Best GTO. More on the results this Wednesday.

Those club members who attended – Bill McCoy, Carl Sikes, Pat Fykes, Jim Zeivel, Dan Huskinsson, Tony DeAngelo, Tony Padilla (all the way from New Mexico), Murray Nevin, Burt Kratzer, Stu Schindler, Mark Gacy, John Harlin, Steve Barcak –– some with cars, some without, likely wondered where the rest of you were. Aside from Kruse, the BOP is typically one of our strongest events of the years. Our annual turnout is always at overflow---this year, there were lots of empty spaces where Cactus GTOers should have been. Disappointing. Pontiac car shows in the valley are few and far between. If you are a true fan, put other obligations aside that can be put aside, and join your fellow club members on these rare occasions to enjoy your favorite Goat.

Don't forget!

Our monthly club meeting, this Wednesday,

March 31st, 7 pm, at Denny's!

That's why we have them, isn't it?

We will also be talking about Project GTO on Wednesday, and we want your input. This planned workshop will cover both our April and May meetings. We want to hear from you if you are working on a resto project or a simple disc brake conversion. Then we will be bringing in people who can help you do it. Come to our meeting Wednesday to learn more. ~ Mark Neumann
